Showers of blessings

Proverbs 1:7- "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge; fools despise wisdom and instruction. Hear, my son, your father's instruction, and forsake not your mother's teaching, for they are a graceful garland for your head and pendants for your neck. My son, if sinners entice you, do not consent."
The writer of Proverbs talks a lot on the importance of gaining Godly wisdom.
We have parents who imparts this Godly wisdom to their son as revealed on vs. 7. that the reverent and worshipful fear of the Lord by the wise is the beginning or starting point and the principal and choice part of true knowledge but fools despise skillful and Godly Wisdom, instruction, and discipline. Vs. 9 reveals that, if this son only learn and obey his mother and father's teaching, what will happen is that, the very things which he learns will crown him with grace and it shall be a chain of honor around his neck.
There are a number of lessons from this passage. We have concerned parents who operate as a team. They both instruct and teach their son.
They are eqquiping their child with greatest Principle of all in life and thus to fear the LORD. They impart this, so that he grows with basic knowledge and wisdom of life.
These parents understood something that many parents might be ignorant of: "if you do not teach or impart values of life into your child, the world will teach and corrupt your child"
I know this is not easy with out context, environment, circumstances, nature of our jobs, etc but nepazinogona napo, work as a team with your spouse, and do your part.
Live the LORD to do what you can't but do what you can. It needs a higher level of commitment to do this. Because kids sometimes seem not to be interested with Godly stuff.
Every teaching you impart is like a seed sown into the ground, it shall germinate at some point. Keep on, never give up. Amen.
