IT'S AN HONOR TO BE A LEADER IN GOD'S HOUSE

1 Corinthians 3:15; "If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire."

To be a leader is a wonderful honor. No matter where it is, politics, government, education, etc. To be a leader in the house of God is the greatest honor of all. Because that's a role that belongs to Christ. It's all about His work, of which some of it has been given to you. In Matthew 16:18, Jesus said, "And I say also  unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon  this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail  against it."

Part of how He builds His Church is through those He has appointed to lead and teach His people and be the leaders of the Church. The work that we carry out to fulfill His vision is a huge responsibility.

Because He is carrying it out through us. We are expected to do the work of Christ in His Name and according to His will. Because He has given us the honor of service in His house. We should have a high level of appreciation for such recognition in God's house.

Whatever assignment is given to you to do in God's house, hallow it and relish, cherish and do it unto Christ.

You must handle it with care. Because the Bible says we all will give account to God for all that we did. There are two major judgments at the end of all things.

One is the judgement seat of Christ, which will be to receive our rewards and praises from Him; some will have more honor than others. Some may not have theirs due to their motives. He doesn't want us to serve Him out of human ambition or fleshly desires.

He wants us to do His work in love, humility and obedience to Him. Serve Him gladly with wholehearted devotion.

Be thankful for the honor and blessedness of service in God's house and the Kingdom. Your heart and mind should be sanctified to produce works that are acceptable to God as you serve Him with love, humility and obedience.
 Glory to God!!!
