Do Not Lose Hope...

 Showers of blessings

Reverend N Murambadoro

Acts 9:10-15 "Now there was in Damascus a disciple named Ananias. The Lord said to him in a vision, Ananias. And he answered, Here am I, Lord. And the Lord said to him, Get up and go to the street called Straight and ask at the house of Judas for a man of Tarsus named Saul, for behold, he is praying [there]. And he has seen in a vision a man named Ananias enter and lay his hands on him so that he might regain his sight.

But Ananias answered, Lord, I have heard many people tell about this man, especially how much evil and what great suffering he has brought on Your saints at Jerusalem; Now he is here and has authority from the high priests to put in chains all who call upon Your name. But the Lord said to him, Go, for this man is a chosen instrument of Mine to bear My name before the Gentiles and kings and the descendants of Israel;"

Ananias was a disciple but not one of the twelve disciples of JESUS. Those days Christians were called disciples. GOD assigned Ananias a difficult task, to go an engage Saul in the things of the Kingdom. On the other hand GOD gave Saul a vision of Ananias coming to lay hands on him.

Ananias' response expressed his fear about Saul and Ananias knew why Saul was in Damascus. But still the LORD commanded him to execute his task because GOD had transformed Saul's life.

What GOD has done with Ananias and Saul, HE is still doing the same today.

There are assignments GOD is giving us today, which seems impossible in our eyes because of what we probably know about them or assume. I would like to encourage you to go do the assignments. Of course it seems hard, difficult to impossible but the fact that GOD assigns you, HE is in it and its gonna happen.

You may express fear, but what's important is to obey the command. Your assignment will enable you to give a testimony, so do it.

We are also living with people whom we have lost hope of repentance in. We regard them as the worst evil disobedient people. But what GOD has done to Saul, HE is still doing the same today,  transforming the worst evil people of our communities, bringing them back to HIMSELF.

Never give up on prayer, preaching and encouraging them from the Word of GOD.

Keep praying for such, in the fullness of GOD'S time, they shall repent. Amen.
