Don't Give The Devil A Chance

Ephesians 4:27-32; 27. Neither give place to the devil. 28. Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth. 29. Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers. 30. And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.

 31. Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and  clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: 32. And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you."

When demon spirits are given a chance or a foothold in the life of a Christian, they will harass and torment them. Don't give the devil an opportunity to get into your life. A Christian could have a nightmare that seems more like an experience. The person may be praying about it, but the situation lingers.

It's because Satan tries to maintain a connection between him and  the person by showing something in their hearts such as an unclean thought.

As long as a person harbors and nurtures those thoughts,  a connection is established. So, even when the person scares him off with the Name of Jesus, as his thoughts remain in their hearts, he maintains his connection and keeps coming back. Sometimes he may plant fear and with the connection, he comes back. This is the reason why,  like Jesus, you must not have anything of Satan within you.

John 14:30; "Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me."

Jesus is speaking here and is telling his disciples that Satan has nothing within Him. Keep your heart pure and free from anything that is of the devil.

Refuse to have anger, bitterness, fear, grudges and unforgiveness in your heart. Let love rule in your heart. Don't ever allow fear to get hold of you, no matter what your circumstances may be. Luke 10:18; "And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven."
There is no need to ever be afraid of him, he was defeated 2000 years ago and he has no authority over you.

You are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus and you have the light of life. There is no darkness within you. Satan has no place in you through the blood of Christ Jesus by which you are purified and cleansed. He has nothing in your life; you rule over him.
            Hallelujah!!!!
