Giving is an act of worship

 from Acts 10:4 "And he stared at him in terror and said, “What is it, Lord?” And he said to him, “Your prayers and your alms have ascended as a memorial before God."

This passage reveals how GOD had accepted Gentiles for salvation and here the whole story is about Peter's realization that the gospel is for the Gentiles as well as the Jews. God grants him a vision that tells him the Gentiles are worthy to hear the Good News of Jesus Christ.

 Cornelius' prayers and Thanksgiving which had reached to GOD, and were accepted, was evidence that GOD is for Gentiles too. I also learn that prayer is act of worship and giving is an act if worship too. When we worship in this way, it should come from the heart.
