1 John 2:1; "My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous."
1 John 3:9 says, "Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God." Some people misunderstand this and run off with the wrong idea that whatever they do is right. Because as Christians they can't sin. We don't judge righteousness by what a Christian does, we judge righteousness by the light of Christ and His Word.
1John 1:7; "But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another; and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin." If you declare that whatever you do is right, that makes you the standard of rightness and of righteousness.
But you are not the standard of righteousness. 1 Corinthians 2:16; "For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ." This doesn't mean every thought of your heart is right. We have the rightness of God. But even though you are born again, you must not live according to worldly standards.
Romans 12:2; "And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect will of God." Sin isn't compulsory, you don't have to sin.
Don't go from "Sin is compulsory as long as we are in this flesh to, whatever I do is right." Your actions, thoughts, behavior and reactions must line up with the Word of God and the righteousness of Christ. He is the standard of righteousness.
The power of God's righteousness works within you. You can live free from sin and consciousness of sin, producing fruits of righteousness, manifesting the love of Christ always.
Hallelujah!!!!
