Power of prayer

There is much fear, unrest, pain, anger, grief and bitterness in the world right now. What is your response to these situations and circumstances?

You can't undo what has already happened. You don't want your heart to become indifferent to these situations and you shouldn't hold grudges in your heart.
Romans 12:9-15; 9. Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good. 10. Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another; 11. Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord; 12.

Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer; 13. Distributing to the necessity of saints; given to hospitality. 14. Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not. 15. Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep." This passage of Scripture shows how you should respond to situations of tragedy, catastrophe, grief, pain, anger and fear. We are going through some trying times at this moment. Don't let bad news deplete your strength.

Direct these crises to prayer. Just move on from tragedy. God's people must pray. Don't let circumstances, tragedies and catastrophes overcome you. You have the power and authority to overcome them.
Intercede for those in pain. There is power in prayer.

Jeremiah 9:17-21; 17. Thus saith the LORD of hosts, Consider ye, and call for the mourning women, that they may come; and send for cunning women, that they may come: 18. And let them make haste, and take up a wailing for us, that our eyes may run down with tears, and our eyelids gush out with waters. 19. For a voice of wailing is heard out.of Zion, How are we spoiled! we are greatly confounded, because we have forsaken the land, because our dwellings have cast us out.

20. Yet hear the word of the LORD,  O ye women, and let your ear receive the word of his mouth, and teach your daughters wailing, and every one her neighbour lamentation. 21.

For death is come up into our windows, and is entered into our palaces, to cut off the children from without, and the young men from the streets."  This passage of Scripture describes what is going on today.

Intercede for those who are grieving. Pray for their strength; for them not to despair and not to give up. God will hear you when you pray.

There will be sadness. But God is in control. He is omniscient (all knowing), omnipresent (everywhere), and omnipotent (all powerful).

Praise Him. He is using people everywhere to intercede for others. Be a vessel for God and have a heart for those going through grief and other situations. God is listening. He will answer your prayers.
                Hallelujah!!!
