Power of the Word of God

2 Peter 1:19; "We have also a more sure word of prophecy;  whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:"

As a children,  we are not trying to win in life, we are acting out a script. In that script it is written that you have already won.

 You will have a problem if you don't follow the script, which is God's Word. It doesn't matter what tribulations may come into your life, declare, "Nay, in all these things I'm more than a conqueror." You have the sure word of prophecy no matter your circumstances. 2 Peter 1:19 reveals to us how to stay afloat, keep winning continually, growing and making progress. No matter your circumstances the Word says, "Take heed to the Word of God as a light that shines in a dark place."

A situation may seem hopeless and you pray and nothing seems to change. God says "Look at that word of prophecy which may be like a flicker of light, and hold on to it. Hang in there, unwavering, until the day dawns, and the day star arises in your heart." As you hold on to the Word, you will hear the voice of the Spirit telling you to relax and that everything will be alright.

 God's Word is in that dark place. So refuse to give up. You can be unperturbed by the circumstances of life because the Word is your confidence and advantage.
