Sermon Showers of blessings Reverend N Murambadoro Acts 15:24-27 "As we have heard that some persons from our number have disturbed you with their teaching, unsettling your minds and throwing you into confusion, although we gave them no express orders or instructions [on the points in question], It has been resolved by us in assembly to select men and send them [as messengers] to you with our beloved Barnabas and Paul, Men who have risked their lives for the sake of our Lord Jesus Christ. So we have sent Judas and Silas, who themselves will bring you the same message by word of mouth." The Apostles in Jerusalem started by acknowledging that we received your concern. Remember these people had just joined the band, they were insignificant but Apostles listened to their concern. Now they moved on to a resolution. Their resolution was to send a delegation together with Paul and Barnabas. These men sent as delegates were not ordinary men but they were characterized by their sacrifices for the Gospel. This delegation was coming along with Apostles to confirm what was written in the letter. This kind of leadership demonstrated by the Apostles here is the one much needed in our time, whether, it's at Church, in government, at work - everywhere. Sometimes, there are genuine concerns regarding matters of the Kingdom of GOD, about the kingdom of this world, or workplace but if the concerned part is insignificant, the matter will take time or will not even be heard. But good leadership shows great care, give an ear, acknowledge the concerns of the flock under his care. We all need to be heard, and be acknowledged and get solutions no matter what status we hold. GOD has a purpose with you as a leader, GOD has a purpose with you in that low status. When there is a matter of concern that hinders progress which you don't take responsibility of, to resolve, you will be accountable. Amen. Blessings and Shalom Rev and Family
