Church Leaders Accuse Prophet Of Using Juju

Staff Writer|

Church leaders in Masvingo have  accused controversial cleric Isaac Makomichi of using  juju to facilitate illicit marriages.

Makomichi of the Calvary Prayer Group is planning to hold a public event to officially introduce what he calls the anointed love potion herb.

Various church leaders  argue Christians should not use juju.

"Prophet" Zvoushe of Zvapupu Zvengoni described Makomichi as an evil agent who is facilitating illicit marriages.

"Makomichi is not a prophet but an evil man who is causing confusion in and around the city.

We are not going to allow this to continue.

If he holds that juju ceremony honestly we will not hesitate to confront him," charged Prophet Zvoushe.

Contacted for a comment, Makomichi said:

"I have helped hundreds of people in Masvingo.I am not worried about what the church leaders you have mentioned are saying.Nobody can stop me from doing my work. It's true I will hold a ceremony to officially introduce the anointed herb."
