Acts 16:18-19
"And she did this for many days. Then Paul, being sorely annoyed and worn out, turned and said to the spirit within her, I charge you in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her! And it came out that very moment. But when her owners discovered that their hope of profit was gone, they caught hold of Paul and Silas and dragged them before the authorities in the forum (marketplace), [where trials are held]!"
I want to speak about money today from this Scripture. What is revealed here is that: not everyone making money is making it in the right way. "Some" people don't really care how they raise money, all that matters to them is cash. The how part is not that important, even if it means to sacrifice someone they dont care, all they are interested in, is cash.
This is what the slave owners were doing. You can relate this Scripture to slave trade, those doing child trafficking, sex workers, those killing people to perform rituals to make money etc.
Let us do self-introspection: how are we raising our money? It is important to raise money in the right way. Don't allow the mindset yokuti "so long money" to control you. When you are rebuked from pursuing evil ways of making money, thank GOD and listen.
Ukaona wadarika stage yekusatsiurika pakutsvaka kwako mari, know for sure, your love for money is dangerous. It is not evil to make money but the way you raise it must be pure. I therefore, encourage you to possess a mindset that is geared to raise some income in the right way. Amen
