Stick To Sound Doctrine

The Preacher's Sincere Talk "For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears...."2 Timothy 4:3 Time offers the greatest test and as the coming of the Lord seems to delay, some people will obviously turn impatient. As a result they will stop tolerating the truth of the word. There are always teacher's ready to offer alternatives to the truth and these are what people desire the most. Paul prophesies about perilous times when the gospel will be challenged by cheaper alternatives that are pleasing and gratifying to people's ears.
