No matter how strong you are spiritually, you will always need other people. You will always need assistance from other people.
Timothy was manning other churches but Paul required his services very urgently. Despite all the faith and glamorous history he needed his son Timothy to help him.
No man is an island and you cannot survive alone. You need a team. Even Jesus formed a team of twelve before venturing into ministry. Timothy was an integral part of Paul's team.
Build a team and let others support you during times of weakness. Individualism may be reason for your failures. Don't be proud for nothing. Call for backup when you need it.
