Methodist Church In Zimbabwe Daily Devotion- Hebrews 11 :24, 27

DAILY DEVOTION MCZ MISSION DEPARTMENT

Hebrews 11:24,27

By faith Moses, when he was grown up, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter,  By faith he left Egypt, not being afraid of the anger of the king, for he endured as seeing him who is invisible.

Be visionary

The journey of life comprises of valleys and mountain tops, meandering roads, misty  hills and prohibiting environments. Despite all these one should be assured that God has destined a future for each and everyone depending on one's choices.

If one is not careful he/she will dwell in background of upbringing. Some of the stories that are narrated of how people grew up leave a lot to desire. But it took someone to make a bold decision, to be visionary, to depart from a lifestyle that looked good with quick short term benefits and embrace on a life changing encounter.

For Moses, it meant leaving the honour in the Palace ,the food, status etc and choosing to suffer but for a while.

There comes a time when one needs to count the cost of staying versus moving on. Today you are being called to be visionary, don't be stuck in a relationship that reduces or kills your future for good.

Many people with potential have become redundant because of lacking vision. Brother/sister if your companionship does not promote or enhance your vision then you are dining with evil.

Leave redundancy, leave temporary benefits, and embrace a life led by the Holy Spirit. When God holds your hand, He takes you somewhere.

Prayer Point

Lord help us to be visionary, to see things beyond our challenges of today in Jesus name Amen
