This can be done using full chicken wings or cut the wings in 2 discarding the tips or you can use ready made sundowner wings.
*INGREDIENTS*
24 chicken wings
24 strips bacon
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon lemon pepper
1 teaspoon portuguese spice
½ teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 tablespoon brown sugar
2 teaspoons oregano
toothpicks (if needed)
*INSTRUCTIONS*
Preheat the oven to 180°C.
Season chicken wings with salt, lemon pepper, portuguese spice, paprika, chili powder, brown sugar and oregano.
Carefully wrap each wing with a strip of bacon and place on a baking rack over a baking sheet lined with foil.
Bake wings for about 35 - 40 minutes, until cooked through.
To braai over coals do it over low to medium heat turning often.
Turning half way through cooking time.
