September is suicide prevention awareness month and I have seen a lot of posts and programmes on how to help our friends and family who may be choosing the suicide route.
There is a lot of love, reassurance, trust that is involved in the process of overcoming suicide.
One cannot, however, pour from an empty cup. Before you extend love to someone else, do you love yourself? Do you give yourself hope? Do you trust yourself? Or are you just dragging yourself by with every day that comes?
"....and, you shall love your neighbour as yourself." Matthew 19:19
You are love. You are loved. You are a blessing.
You are worthy. You were put on this earth for a reason. You are the light of world, the salt of the earth.
Love yourself. Zvide. Zithande ❣️
