✝️The gospel of Christ teaches believers to be tender hearted and affectionate towards each other and to bear each other's burdens. All mankind should humble lest they fall into temptation and sin. All who believe should minister to the needs of those who instruct them in righteousness, they should not be self conceited for what a person sows is what they will reap. Do good to all people so as to imitate the love of Christ. Our lives should always uplift Christ and his cross to show that we have been saved and have peace of God flowing within our hearts. Let all believers bear the marks of Christ on their bodies.
*1️⃣Galatians 6:1-10: Christians should love to serve one another, should examine themselves to see whether they are still in the faith.*
⏹️As they live by the Spirit’s power, believers will want to be of spiritual help to others. They will not harshly criticize others when they are caught doing wrong rather they will feel for each other. They should know also it is the easy to be overcome by temptation. The Apostle says, *" (For we walk by faith, not by sight:)"(2 Corinthians 5:7).*
*"Examine yourselves, whether you be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know you not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except you be reprobates?"(2 Corinthians 13:5).*
⏹️People should not foolishly compare themselves with others in order to feel satisfied about their own spirituality, for each person is answerable to God for their behaviour regardless of what other people may have done in their lives. The Apostle says, *" For we dare not make ourselves of the number, or compare ourselves with some that commend themselves: but they measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise"(2 Corinthians 10:12).*
⏭️We reap what we sow, a Christ like character is a season of sowing and not reaping. So believers should not tire in helping financially their spiritual instructors as this guarantee themselves future everlasting reward of lasting worth. Jesus said, *"And he that reaps receives wages, and gathers fruit to life eternal: that both he that sows and he that reaps may rejoice together"(John 4:36).*
The Psalmist says, *"Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it"(Psalm 34:14).*
*2️⃣Galatians 6:11-18: Christians should never weary of doing good and uplifting the cross of Christ.*
⏹️The gospel of Christ is delivered to mankind not just as merely as a proposition but the inspired Word of God to bring salvation to mankind. The Apostle Peter says, *" For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty"(2Peter 1:16).*
⏭️To uplift Christ is the gospel, for He is the Word made flesh for the salvation of all people who believe and not through circumcision of the flesh but of the heart. The Apostle John says, *"And the Word was made flesh, and dwelled among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth"(John 1:14).*
⏹️ The Cross of Christ demands our notice as it sets before us a glorious object of contemplation. As Christ suffered so we too will suffer, as He ministered to the needs of others, we to should minister to others. The Apostle Peter says, *" For as much then as Christ has suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin"(1Peter 4:1).*
The Apostle says, *"And be you kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake has forgiven you"(Ephesians 4:32).*
⏭️In doing all these things, we should be watchful not to fall into temptation and sin. For if any man is in Christ Jesus, he is a new creature, doing good to the cause of God and service of others. Jesus said, *"And forgive us our sins; for we also forgive every one that is indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil"(Luke 11:4).*
⏹️The Cross of Christ the highest exhibition of the glory of God and even His justice. It exhibits the love of God and reveals pardon which God has provided for sinners by the blood and sacrifice of His Son. The Apostle says, *"But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified to me, and I to the world"(Galatians 6:14).*
*🅰️Appeal*
By the cross of Christ, believers are dead to the world. By Christ or by the cross of Christ, the world is crucified to those who are saved as we experienced the power and virtue in it of being forgiven and forgiving others. The cross is our only reason of glorifying God for circumcision does not avails anything worth of praise. The Apostle says, *"For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision avails any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which works by love"(Galatians 5:6).* Amen!!!
