Ephesians 3:20-21 "Now to Him who is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly more than all that we dare ask or think [infinitely beyond our greatest prayers, hopes, or dreams], according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations forever and ever. Amen."
This was Paul's concluding statement after he spoke about doctrinal teaching and introduces its practical application. Instead of him feeling good about job well done, exalts, praise and glorify himself, he acknowledge JESUS CHRIST the Source and give HIM all the glory, honour and praises. This Scripture is pointing us to this very thing: after we have sacrificed ourselves, time and resources and after doing everything in our power, which we are enabled to do, we need to acknowledge the Source. We might wish and desire to do, to sacrifice but if its not allowed by the Source our LORD JESUS CHRIST, it won't happen. Whatever we have accomplished, let's give glory and honor to JESUS CHRIST our LORD. Amen.
