*CALLED TO BE GOD'S PEOPLE*
_Chosen_
*_"You didn't choose me. I chose you. I appointed you to go and produce lasting fruit, so that the Father will give you whatever you ask for, using my name. This is my command: Love each other."_*
What makes us a special people? It is the fact that God chose us. He hand picked you and me and made us his own. That makes our calling very special.
This special calling and selection gives us the confidence that nothing can ever take us away from the love of God. *(Romans 8:35)* God is really for us and we are truly his own, hence we should fear nothing that comes against us. *(Romans 8:31)* *_"If God is for us, who can be against us?_* There is no need for being a miserable child of God.
As God's chosen, we have become his friends, *(John 17:14),* He, therefore, expects us to produce, not just fruit but, lasting fruit; doing good all our lives. This will open doors for us to ask for whatever we want in Jesus' name and, God will give us. We are also challenged to love one another. Remember, we are among many others, so it is our responsibility to love all those who were called together with us. *_If God loved them and called them, who are we to hate them and count them out?_
