*CALLED TO BE GOD'S PEOPLE*
_The price of God's love._
*_"For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life."_* (John 3:16)
God did not write a billboard to announce that he loved you, neither did he blow a trumpet to sound it. Instead, he did something spectacular; giving his only Son, whom he so much loved, to show his love for you.
This depth of love proves how dear you are to God. Many a time you may have read John 3:16 with a picture of the whole world and its many inhabitants.
Today I implore you to read it with a deeper understanding of your intimacy with God. Read it as; _"For God so loved_ .... (put your name) eg. _*"For God so loved ISIAH so much that he gave his only Son, so that ISIAH who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life"*_
It took God to release Jesus from heaven to seal his love for you. Jesus obediently came and loved you with the love of and from God. That is why Jesus prayed; *_"Father, I want these whom you have given me to be with me, so they can see my glory. You gave me the glory because you loved me even before you the world began."_* (John 17:24) You have been loved so deeply by God that he had to let go of the son he loved so dearly. God did it all for your salvation.
Praise be to this our loving God. He only needs your faithful heart in return.
