A TESTIMONY

_A tax collector's testimony_

_"I will give half my wealth to the poor, Lord, and if I have overcharged people on their taxes, I will give them back four times as much!" (Luke 19:8)

A testimony may be a combination of confession and restitution. When one meets Jesus Christ there is an instant readiness to confess all evil done. When Zacchaeus met Jesus Christ, he was more than ready to confess his wrong doings.

Zacchaeus' Testimony was like; _"as I collected the Government tax, I would often overcharge people and take the extra money for my personal use. But today, right before you Jesus, I am willing, not only to confess but also to give back what I have overcharged."_ So for this tax collector, it was confession and restitution; that became his testimony.

A testimony is also a sign of Salvation and, Jesus confirmed it; _"Salvation has come to this home today, for this man has shown himself to be a son of Abraham. And I, the Son if man, have come to seek and save those like him who are lost."_ (Luke 19:9-1)

People may be lost in more ways than one, but there is only one way to Salvation. Meet and accept Jesus Christ as your personal saviour, get your life changed and give a testimony. *Amen.*
