*WHAT IS YOUR EXCUSE*

_Not my will but God's_

*_"Father, if you are willing, please take this cup of suffering away from me. Yet I want your will to be done, not mine."_* (Luke 22:42)

As Jesus mission on earth gradually drew near it's climax the challenges grew more painful. He had covered the greater part of the journey, now the remaining distance was getting tougher and more personal than earlier. Jesus, however, managed to take it away from a personal perspective and kept it as God's project. That is why he prayed, *_"I want your will to be done, not mine."_*

When faced with God related challenges, we always have two options; either to follow our instinct or to do the will of God.

Because it will be a God related challenge, it makes trying to resolve it with our own will and understanding not help.

Why not give up and let God take over and fulfil his will? Jesus sounded very human and gave his human position but, quickly he reverted to the spiritual and let God take control.

When we allow God's will to be done in our lives and stop giving excuses, we are allowing God to follow his original plan for our lives.

This war between the mind and the spirit is always with us; the mind thinking of the flesh and the spirit with the heavenly thoughts.

Our future is based on the spiritual and heavenly bound positions.

Let God's will be done.

*Amen.*
