Light On Wednesday: What's Your Excuse?

with Major Isaiah Motsi

(Gaborone, Botswana)

*WHAT IS YOUR EXCUSE?*

_When called to God's duty._

*_"Now go for I am sending you to Pharaoh._* *_You must lead my people Israel out of Egypt."_*

*_But Moses protested to God, Who am I to appear before Pharaoh? Who am I to lead the people of Israel out of Egypt?_* (Exodus 3:10-11)

Do you sometimes feel unworthy to be called for God's work? Like Moses, have you often felt not smart enough to carry out God's assignment?  What excuse do you often  give when God calls you for duty?

Are you not protesting God's calling to his service? If your excuse is *_"Who am I"_*, the response from God would be, _"You are my chosen instrument to take my message to the Gentiles and to Kings, as well as to the people of Israel."_ *(Acts 9:15)*

God does not call the qualified, he qualifies those he calls. God loves to reveal his glory by using _jars of clay._ How beautiful it is to see out of the ordinary flowing something extra-ordinarily!

So do not despise yourself. God knows your untapped potential and he also knows the potential that he can give you. So when he gives you a task, he knows what he is doing. He does not  expect you to fail and he will not let you fail either.

It is not about you, neither is it about what you can or cannot do. It is about God's

mission being accomplished through you. So  avail yourself and be willing to be used by God. *Amen.*
