Ephesians 3:4-6 "By referring to this, when you read it you can understand my insight into the mystery of CHRIST, which in other generations was not disclosed to mankind, as it has now been revealed to HIS holy apostles and prophets by the HOLY SPIRIT, that the Gentiles are now joint heirs and members of the same body, and joint partakers in the promise in CHRIST JESUS through the Good News."
The word mystery is the same as secret. Paul reveals that he has privilege to know the secret of GOD. When we talk of secrets, its something that is hidden, you can only know about it when the owner reveals to you. In this case, GOD has revealed this secret to the Apostles. The secret is this: “the Gentiles or non-Jews are heirs together, and members of the Body of CHRIST together, and sharers of the promise together”. In other words, gentiles who believe in CHRIST have the same wonderful, privileged access to GOD as the Israelite Believers. Now, this has become an open secret. I am leaving you with a challenge: what is expected of yoi with this open secret? Remember anyone who is not a Jew is a Gentile, so are you going to be like a Samaritan woman in John 4, when she realized the secret of GOD, she went into the city, and invite others to CHRIST? Whatever the HOLY SPIRIT lays on your heart to do, just do it with this message of open secret. Amen.
