Showers of blessings
Ephesians 3:1-3 "For this reason I, Paul, am the prisoner of Christ Jesus on behalf of you Gentiles—assuming that you have heard of the stewardship of God’s grace that was entrusted to me for your benefit; and that by revelation the mystery was made known to me, as I have already written in brief."
Paul was a prisoner because he preached the Gospel of CHRIST to the Gentiles and Jews. The type of Gospel he preached was not welcome because it was liberating the oppressed. Paul suffered because of preaching the True Gospel that saved people from bondage. The pain inflicted on Paul was meant to stop him from preaching the Gospel but GOD enabled him to keep on doing good in the face of persecutions.
One thing I have learnt as well in this earthly life is that, when you preach the true Gospel, and serve a good cause you disturb the plans of the devil. There are high chances that the devil reacts to it. He generally raises people through whom his evil plans manifest in the physical. These people whom the devil raises are the reason why Paul suffered as a prisonor. The devil realized, he was losing the ground and control so he fought back trying to stop the spreading of the Gospel. When you suffer for a good cause, know your real enemy are not these people inflicting pain on your but the devil. Ask GOD to strengthen you and keep on doing good. Amen
