Showers of Blessings:Brotherly Love - Mark Of Christianity

Showers of blessings

Reverend N Murambadoro

Ephesians 1:15-16 "For this reason, because I have heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all God’s people. I do not cease to give thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers"

The two are responding positively to what's happening in their lives. The Ephesians believed in CHRIST and were given a seal of the HOLY SPIRIT. Now they demonstrated their faith in JESUS to the point that Paul heard of it and furthermore, they demonstrated love towards GOD'S people. They were known for showing Brotherly love. Because of how they were living as Christians, Paul responded to them by assuring them that he would not cease to pray for them, giving thanks for them and he always remembered them in his prayers.

Let us zoom this Scripture closely and ask ourselves some questions. Are we demonstrating our faith thus proving our faith by works? Instead of faith, are you not planting doubt and disbelief in people? Are we demonstrating love to each other? Instead of love, are you not the confusion, chaos, trouble causer? Can your Pastor, Bishop, Spiritual leader say these words of Paul over you.? vs 16. (Paul anoti Ndinotenda MWARI Uye handiregedze kukunamatira.) Let us do self introspection this morning and come back to the LORD. Our GOD invites us through Isaiah 1:18 “Come now, and let us reason together,” Says the Lord. “Though your sins are like scarlet, They shall be as white as snow; Though they are red like crimson, They shall be like wool." Amen.

Blessings and Shalom
