Showers of blessings come from Ephesians 4:14-16 "So then, we may no longer be children, tossed to and fro between chance gusts of teaching and wavering with every changing wind of doctrine, the cunning and cleverness of unscrupulous men, in every shifting form of trickery in inventing errors to mislead. Rather, let our lives lovingly express truth. Enfolded in love, let us grow up in every way and in all things into HIM Who is the Head, CHRIST. For because of HIM the whole body, closely joined and firmly knit together by the joints and ligaments with which it is supplied, when each part is working properly, grows to full maturity, building itself up in love."
These verse exposed the negative side of Spiritual Growth and the positive side of Spiritual Growth. Looking at vs 14, Paul speaks about immature Christians who acts like infants. When Christians fail to grow, there are some dangers to that explained yesterday. Now on vs 15 Paul speaks of the positive side of Spiritual Growth. Instead of falling for false teaching, the Church should be truth oriented in the context of love. The idea of this verse is more than speaking the truth; it includes believing it, applying it, and doing it. May the LORD enable us to believe, apply and do it. Amen.
