Ephesians 3:13-15
"So I ask you not to lose heart at my sufferings on your behalf, for they are your glory and honor. For this reason, I bow my knees before the FATHER , from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name." On Paul's side, it was suffering but on their side, it meant glory and honour. This degree of sacrifice cannot be done by one who has not died to self. Paul set up an example of dying to self thus denying self, talking up his Cross and follow JESUS. Luke9:23. When Paul was speaking to the Ephesians, he felt satisfied in his suffering because it was for a good cause. May the LORD enable you and me to die to self - ourselves and be able to sacrifice for others for a good cause. Amen.
