What is Salvation?

Salvation is from a Greek word SOZO, which means, "to be made complete, to be made safe, etc". 

THUS one who is saved has been made complete and has been made safe. Salvation does not happen by men's selection but by God's selection because God knows them who are His. 

2 Timothy 2:19 

Nevertheless the solid foundation of God stands, having this seal: "The Lord knows those who are His," and, "Let everyone who names the name of Christ depart from iniquity."

Salvation/Kupona hakusi kuenda kuChurch, aihwa, kupona kugamuchira hupenyu hwusingaperi hwaKristu through faith on Him and on the work He did on the cross. 

Ephesians 2: 8-9 

For by grace you have been saved *through faith* , and that not of yourselves; [it is] the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.

 How then is one SAVED?

This question is answered in the scripture above, it's by Faith.

Romans 10: 8-13 

But what does it say? [ "The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart"] (that is, the word of faith which we preach): that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the Scripture says, [ "Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame."] For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. For [ "whoever calls] [ on the name of the LORD shall be saved."]

If you believe, then confess with your mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord, confess Him as Lord of the World and Lord of your Life, confess that He surely came in the flesh, crucified and rose on the third day, confess that by his stripes you are healed, Surrender yourself to Him, crying out the promises of the Cross straight from scripture, but first you have to believe them

John 3:16

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

1 Peter 2:24 

Who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed.

1 John 4:4 

You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.

2 Corinthians 5:21

For He made Him who knew no sin [to be] sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

Thus salvation is simply by faith in Him who is Holy and one who carried our sins on the Cross. It is by faith in Him that we are also born into His image and form, and by faith in Him, we are made the righteousness of God

Galatians 2:16 

Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but by faith in Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law; for by the works of the law no flesh shall be justified.

It's by Faith and by faith alone. Therefore believe that Jesus Christ is Lord and believe that He is the Son of God, who came in the flesh crucified, buried and rose on the third day. Then by confession of faith one is saved. It's that simple.
