Wednesday showers of blessings come from Ephesians 4:22 "Strip yourselves of your former nature which characterized your previous manner of life and becomes corrupt through lusts and desires that spring from delusion."
Believers must consciously and intentionally put off or discard the old self marked by evil brought on by misplaced, deceptive urges. When we become Christians, we are taking off our former way of life by the power of the HOLY SPIRIT. We are saved from our old, original, self-centered, Adamic-life, which corrupts by deceitful desires of the flesh. Through the power of the HOLY SPIRIT we are ushered into the precious union with our SAVIOUR and Communion with our GOD. My prayer for you is that, you intentionally and consciously take off the old self through CHRIST by the power of the HOLY SPIRIT. Amen.
