This is something very important that we should teach in the church and to our families and friends. 

In a world where there are so many gods it’s important to know the names and meaning of the true God.

Omnipotence means all-powerful. Monotheistic theologians regard God as having supreme power. 

This means God can do what he wants. It means he is not subject to physical limitations like man is. Being omnipotent, God has power over wind, water, gravity, physics, etc. God's power is infinite, or limitless.

Omniscience means all-knowing. God is all all-knowing in the sense that he is aware of the past, present, and future. Nothing takes him by surprise. His knowledge is total. He knows all that there is to know and all that can be known.

Omnipresence means all-present. This term means that God is capable of being everywhere at the same time.

 

What does the Bible say about Jehovah Jireh?

“Jehovah-Jireh” is one of the many different names of God found in the Old Testament. 

“Jehovah-Jireh” is the KJV ’s translation of YHWH -Yireh and means “The LORD Will Provide” (Genesis 22:14). It is the name memorialized by Abraham when God provided the ram to be sacrificed in place of Isaac.

 

Jehovah-Nissi (more properly Yahweh-Nissi) means “the Lord is our banner” in Hebrew. The name Jehovah-Nissi appears only once in the Bible, in Exodus 17:15. Moses, after the children of Israel defeated the Amalekites, built an altar and named it Jehovah-Nissi.

 

In Ezekiel 48:35 it is written "JEHOVAH SHAMMAH" and it means God is here. Its meaning is that the presence of God is going to be in his temple. The same way. Jesus is our defense attorney.
