Love People But Trust God

Psalm 118:8

It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man.

(KJV)

"Love is never wasted, for its value does not rest upon reciprocity." -- C. S. Lewis.

In His wisdom, God commanded us to love people and trust Him. Our joy and victory depend on knowing this difference. 

God was pleased with Abraham for believing Him and He hates us for doubting Him and putting our trust in men.

School holidays have become endless and many parents are struggling to fulfill their families' financial and psychological needs. 

The greatest challenge we will get is looking to human beings and placing our trust in them to set us free. Trust God. Love people. God knows your challenges, talk to Him.

In John 8:3  Jesus says, "if the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed." Jesus can set us free from the challenges we face in this world.

Financial challenges, marital challenges, family challenges, economic and social challenges. He is able to turn around your situation. Trust in Him. 

He can command your your mountains to be removed cast into the sea. 

 

Just because you did something good for someone before, don't expect them to reciprocate the gesture. It is setting your heart on a disappointing path. Ask God to direct you in the right direction.

Love is not love until you give it away.
