Peace Committee Engages Community On Conflict Resolution

People from all walks of like gathered at the Methodist Church in Zimbabwe at Chivi Growth Point for a conflict resolution process combined with an all - night prayer event organized and hosted by the Methodist Church in Zimbabwe on the 30th of October 2021.



The event was opened in prayer by Rev. K. Sithole before Rev. Lordwin Gumbo from the Church of Christ presented a   Theological Reflection from Psalms 1 vs 1 - 6.



Mrs. Margaret Zvandasara, the Chivi Local Peace Committee Secretary gave an Overview of the Zimbabwe Council of Churches and its mandate. 



Chaplain Paul Tsvangirai, presented a paper on conflict management and conflict resolution and as well touched on the national dialogue framework.



The Zmbabwe Council of Churches Chivi Local Peace Committee resolved to continue to grab opportunities of this nature to give lectures on various topics as well as explaining the dialogue process and its importance. 



The event was not limited to ZCC member churches only but was  open to all.
