Barely a month after the death of a Binga philathropist Pastor, Dr. Jabulani Mudenda another eminent man of God, Overseer Jumpule Kabanga is no more.
He was the Overseer of all Assemblies of God Churches in Binga North.
Overseer Kabanga passed on yesterday morning around 3.00am from United Bulawayo Hospital.
"He underwent an operation two months back. So he had gone for a second review, then we heard he was put on ICU 2 days back. Then that's that." said Pastor Rennick Sibanda of the Assemblies of God church.
Another pastor from Binga said his immense contributions in the building up of the apostolic council and fold will be remembered for life.
"He was so bold in correcting man - made doctrines.
"During my stay in Binga, I mostly depended on his library for my studies.
"He once time visited our Bible School class, he spotted me and one of my class mate Minister Donald D.Lunga, we were the youngest in the class and only without ministerial serving posts. He encouraged us and he congratulated us during the day of our graduation.
"Many ministers were modelled by him. It's a great loss to Binga, his departure is too early. It's a blow to the Binga Pastors Fraternity, Binga Apostolic Council of ministers, not to mention the Church he served as a minister and his family at large." Pastor Israel Ncube said.
Mourners are gathered at his residence at Binga centre.
He is survived by his wife and two children.
He will be laid to rest on Saturday at his home village in Nalubuyu.
