Showers of blessings
Ephesians 4:23-24 "And be constantly renewed in the spirit of your mind [having a fresh mental and spiritual attitude], And put on the new nature (the regenerate self) created in God’s image, [Godlike] in true righteousness and holiness."
Yesterday we focused on vs 22 where Christians are to put off or discard the old self marked by evil brought in by misplaced deceptive urges. Making this change is impossible without CHRIST, and requires a Christian to be renewed in their thinking by GOD according to Romans 12:2. The contrast to the old self and the result of being transformed by CHRIST, is to put on the new self. This new self is the one to be renewed. The new self is the life which grows to become more like CHRIST. We must endeavour to become like CHRIST daily because we have taken off the olf self. Amen
