ACCEPT YOUR OWN FLESH AND BLOOD

_Laban exclaimed, "You really are my own flesh and blood."_ (Genesis 29:14)

Jacob was accepted  into Laban's home with full family honour. Laban had met his own flesh and blood.

Jacob was  his nephew. I think a big reception meal was prepared for the reunion.

It is disturbing to note the magnitude of strife that arises whenever some people reunite.

Instead of joyful acceptance there is often a heartbreaking rejection, for one reason or another.

Is all your flesh and blood well under your care or part of it is just wandering fatherless or motherless. While you dine and drink, do you care where they are?

May I  invite someone today, to come back to their senses and have concern over their own flesh and blood that for one reason or the other away from home.

That uncaring attitude is a sin before Heaven and earth and you need only God to forgive you of it. It is never late to swallow one's pride, face whatever hurt that may exist. Your own flesh and blood's hope is only in you.

Your own flesh and blood deserve a better life.

Act now!

Amen
