Be Joyful Always
Theme : Be cheerful no matter what.
Text : 1 Thessalonians 5:16
I understand that in life and even in your Christian faith there are times you are put between the deep sea and hard rock and you are asked to choose a better devil.
Panyanga dzaMushore chaipo! At times at your work places, in fellowships or even in our own families.
And it is here that we are commanded to be happy always in our faith. This is not negotiable. You have to follow.
Why do we rejoice in life? We rejoice because we are filled with joy. When we are overcome with happiness at our circumstances, we are filled with joy.
As believers in Jesus Christ, we are filled with joy because not only have we been set free from sin today, we are anticipating our Savior’s return.
Therefore, our rejoicing will not last just for a day – it will continue evermore. No matter what our situation or circumstances are like we must always be happy. Our greatest causes being what has been said above.
Prayer of the Day
Dear God, we rejoice in all you have done, are doing and will do! Your unfailing love and faithfulness fill us with joy.
We look forward to the day you will return and we will be able to worship you face to face. We thank you for your promises, O Lord. You have given us an eternal hope so we rejoice today, tomorrow, and forever. In Jesus’ name, Amen
