Thursday showers of blessings come from Matthew 6:33 ".... But seek first of all His kingdom and His righteousness, and then all these things taken together will be given you besides."
JESUS was addressing the issue of worrying or being anxious about life. The same issue that bothered these people is still a challenge in our generation. Some suicides people experience is because of worry. Some wrong decisions people make are because of worry. Worrying has just become natural in many people. What are you worried about? The good thing is that JESUS helped us with the formula to solve worrying issues. What is it? Seek first the Kingdom and HIS Righteousness and everything will fall into place. If you do this, you are simply denying self-sufficiency and become dependent on JESUS. When you surrender your dependency on JESUS, you worry less. Why? Because you are simply saying : JESUS take care of my life according to your plan. Therefore, I urge you to follow JESUS' formula to deal with worry. Read Matthew 11:27. Amen.
