Isaiah 6:5
And I said: “Woe is me! For I am lost; for I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips; for my eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts!”
The grace of self introspection.
It is possible for one to live a whole life, knowing the characters that surround him/her without knowing oneself. Without God's presence we are blind,but His presence opens our eyes.
The sight of God did not not only illuminate Isaiah's personality but subjected him to self introspection, and he saw his unworthiness. Unless we come face to face with Christ, we will always view other people's weaknesses, while we walk in ignorance.
Prayer
Lord Jesus come into my life, and I will be able to self introspect myself. Let the light of Christ shine on me in Jesus name, Amen.
