BLESSED BECAUSE OF YOU
"Please listen to me,' Laban replied. "I have become wealthy, for the Lord has blessed me because of you." (Genesis 30:27)
To Laban Jacob had become a blessing from God. Laban realized that everything around him had changed for the better with the arrival of Jacob.
He did not let Jacob know it until the day that Jacob asked him to allow him to go back to his own land and to his own people.
It is not uncommon that the importance a person's presence is often noticed when they have left. Jacob was still there but, had only indicated his interest to leave. That is when Laban opened his heart to Jacob.
Not many people would openly appreciate the services of another, and the achievements they accomplished with the help of the other person.
What did you bring when you joined your current place of work, or the church? Did you bring blessings or a curse?
Make it your prayer that as you work or serve you may be a blessing. All blessings come from God. So ask God to make you an instrument of blessing in someone's life.
