Monday showers of blessings come from Ephesians 5:21-24 "Submit to one another out of reverence for CHRIST. 22 Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands as you do to the LORD. 23 For the husband is the head of the wife as CHRIST is the Head of the Church, HIS Body, of which HE is the SAVIOR . 24 Now as the Church submits to CHRIST, so also wives should submit to their own husbands in everything."
Submission is the rule of the game but it is done from both the husband and the wife. What is only different is that, both submit to each other differently. Vs. 21. is clear on this issue of submission. Today we shall look on one side which is the wife and tomorrow GOD willing we focus on husband. It is expected of every wife to submit to your own husband. It doesn't matter kuti your status is better than his or not, educated or not, rich or poor, submit unto him as you do to the LORD. Why? Because he is the Head of the family. Vs. 24. Scripture reveals that wives must submit in everything. Take note Brethren: submission does not mean inferiority. Its an act of obedience to the LORD. Wives have no excuses on this matter. Be responsible submissive helpers in your households. If this marital principle is followed, many marriages will be saved from breaking. Amen.
