Thursday showers of blessings come from Philippians 2:9-11 "Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, 11 and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father."
If you want to jump high, the principle is you must go down first and then springs up. You can try this now. Stand up, and jump from that position before you go down and see how high you go. Then try it again, but now you must go down first and then jump up. You will notice the difference. Humility is like this. To humble yourself is like going down beyond what is considered normal status. Then from that humble status, you always go high. JESUS went down to a humble status but from there HE went too high, to a position noone ever reached and will never reach. Therefore, let us learn from CHRIST the principle of humility and the LORD will lift us up to our desired levels. You won't go wrong by humbling yourself. Amen.
