Tuesday showers of blessings come from Philippians 1:6-8 "6 And I am convinced and sure of this very thing, that He Who began a good work in you will continue until the day of Jesus Christ [right up to the time of His return], developing [that good work] and perfecting and bringing it to full completion in you."
Paul has this salvation confidence from his personal experience with CHRIST and now he testifies his confidence and assurance to the Philippians. When CHRIST save you, its not just for you to feel good but it's for a purpose and a reason. Previously Paul prays for them for their participation and partnership in the Gospel. This was a result of their salvation. It can only be GOD who enables one to participate and partner in the Gospel. There are things that one can do when connected to CHRIST and there are things one cannot do when disconnected from CHRIST the source of life. This is what gives Paul confidence and assurance because when CHRIST starts HIS mission, HE finishes it. Amen.
