Tuesday showers of blessings come from Philippians 2:3-4 "Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves. 4. Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others."
One of our greatest enemy in this life is self. That's why JESUS said:" "if anyone wants to follow Me, deny yourself take up your Cross and follow Me" The first step is to deny self. Paul is giving a statement that also challenges us not to consider ourselves first but rather consider other and their interests. If we can master this principle, we will have a better environment to live in. The greatest cause of human suffering is self. The destruction on our environment is caused by self. Every problem we think, the root is self. Let us pray this prayer Psalm 51:10. We need a heart that is selfless for us to eliminate all the problems and sufferings caused by selfishness. Amen.
