Tuesday showers of blessings come from Philippians 2:17-18 "17 But even if I am being poured out like a drink offering on the sacrifice and service coming from your faith, I am glad and rejoice with all of you. 18 So you too should be glad and rejoice with me."
Paul looks at his current suffering situation and compares it to the pouring of drink offering on the sacrifice. But in that unpleasant situation, he rejoices and urge Philippians to rejoice with him. He looked at his situation positively and encouraged others to accept or embrace his situation. From this, we all learn to look at life positively in the service of the Kingdom. We are all experiencing difficulties in this world in various ways, but we need not be sorrowful. Let us rejoice for every situation is a passing phase. It comes and goes. Amen.
