Wednesday showers of blessings come from Philippians 2:5-8 "Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus: 6 Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, 7 but made himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. 8 And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient to death— even death on a cross!"
Humility is CHRIST'S attitude referred to here. The degree of humility demonstrated by CHRIST is not easy. Being GOD but emptied HIMSELF to be a servant. HE went all the way to save you and me from eternal death and condemnation. Now Paul is saying follow CHRIST'S example and be humble. Which means to get off your comfort zone and serve GOD'S Divine Will and Purpose. This is only possible when we deny ourselves and be like CHRIST. Amen.
