Hebrews 4:16

Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.

The word of God is encouraging us to approach the throne of grace so that we receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. There is an aspect of prayer we learn from this verse. 

We pray and obtain mercy and grace which can be used for later use, in times of need. If you approach the throne of grace, you obtain mercy and grace which will be used in time of need. For example, a person who always prays can be involved in an accident. At that time he/ she may not be able to pray. But the prayer that was done beforehand, provides mercy and grace during that time of need when the person is not able to. Our prayers are stored in a reservoir, for later use in times of need.

Prayer

Lord help us to always approach the throne of grace and mercy and that we  invest our time in Prayer always, Amen.
