Thursday showers of blessings come from Colossians 2:21-22 “Don’t handle, nor taste, nor touch” (all of which perish with use), according to the precepts and doctrines of men?"
This SCRIPTURE has been misinterpreted a lot because we take it out of context. It is best understood in its context. Paul spoke of human rules and regulations; this verse gives a generic summary of those rules. The intent of Paul's words is clear. Christians should not feel obligated to follow the rules and regulations of Judaism in order to please GOD.
What does this mean to us?
There are some Christians who think they can only please GOD when they bow down to certain individuals or follow certain rules and regulations or add something to their faith. May the revelation of Paul and his understanding enlighten our hearts on this matter. Amen.
