Monday showers of blessings come from Colossians 4:1 "Masters, give to your servants that which is just and equal, knowing that you also have a MASTER in Heaven."
This Scripture continue to address the issue of Christian living. Here, Scripture warns masters to be fair and just in treating their servants, although this was contrary to the cultural norm of Colossae and most other ancient cities. Mistreatment have been culturally acceptable, but Scripture is saying, it is not suitable for a believer in CHRIST. Maybe we can also reflect on other matters that might be justified and normalised by the world but not suitable for a Christian. We must always remember that we exist to pleae GOD and serve HIS purpose and will. Amen.
