PSALM 11:4
"But the Lord is in His holy Temple; The Lord still rules from heaven. He watches everyone closely, examining every person on earth".
The Lord still rules
When we pass through trying times we often seek to understand whether God is still in control. The Covid 19 effects and consequent lockdowns, it would seem as if God has been overtaken by the knowledge of humanity.
The Psalmist descends with a word for the fainting, the overwhelmed, the sick and the hopeless ; God still reigns from heaven.The invisible Creator is with us. He doesn't change.
Prayer
Lord we come before you in distress, may your manifest presence enable us to soldier on in Jesus name, Amen.
